According to the latest report from the U.S. National Weather Service, it is expected that from November 23rd to November 28th, the ship route from Los Angeles to the central and eastern parts of the country will encounter blizzard weather, which will cause varying degrees of climate impact on the cargo unloaded at all ports in the Central and Eastern regions, and it is expected that the delivery time of the goods will be delayed by 7 to 10 days.
Additionally, according to recent foreign news, two major U.S. terminals are currently facing severe congestion issues, namely the WBCT terminal and the ITS terminal. The current pick-up efficiency of these terminals is low, and it is expected that the overall pick-up time will be postponed by 1 to 3 working days.

The MPA stated that it may take several weeks to restore the smoothness of the supply chain and handle all the cargo currently at Montreal Port or soon to arrive at the port.
A Danish shipping giant confirmed that for the Canadian ports affected by the strike, most shipping companies will restart the timing of detention and demurrage fees on the day the affected maritime terminals reopen.
