From October 24 to 26, 2018, you can find E-PORTS at the 13th International Shipbuilding, Marine Equipment and Offshore Engineering Exhibition for China (SHIPTEC China). With the theme "Smart Ocean, Innovative Voyage", it is scheduled to be held at Dalian World Expo Center. Our booth is at 2H06 in the exhibition area for Auxiliary Equipment and Technology. We extend a sincere welcome to all industry elites to discuss the future development in the smart shipping era and work together to create a new, E-PORTS-style shipping economy!
The exhibition is co-sponsored by the China Shipbuilding Industry Association, China Shipowners Association, China Shipbuilding Engineering Society, and the China Fishing Boat and Fishing Gear Industry Association. The exhibition venue covers 30,000 square meters in total, with over 1000 booths. 30% of participants are international, while the professional audience will count over 40,000 entries. This is a professional platform for gathering the business elite in China’ s maritime industry, forming collaborations, expanding military-civilian integration and strengthening cooperation between the government and businesses.
The exhibition attracts three important international classification societies including ABS, ClassNK and RS, which will offer solutions to key technical problems from different angles and jointly promote paperless certificates with the aim to ensure the stable development of shipbuilding and shipping industry.
The exhibition also attracts many famous international shipping equipment manufacturers, including KVH, an American brand supplier for satellite broadband; Graco, an American supplier for fluid equipment; Marineworks, a Korean supplier for Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS); Norsafe Group, a leader in global maritime lifesaving system; Wako Group, a Japan supplier for deodorization devices; Beijer Electronics, an automation system integrator from Taiwan, China as well as Prime Group from Norway, Nitti from Singapore and Kockumation from Sweden.
In addition, Panama's Ministry of Maritime Affairs, the world's largest flag state, will participate in SHIPTEC China for the first time. The Netherlands Maritime Technology Association (NMT), which has close ties with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd (DSIC) and COSCO shipbuilding business, will invite several Dutch shipping equipment manufacturers to participate in the exhibition as a national exhibition group and trade delegation, and attend the exhibition's new product launch and commercial abutment conferences. Besides, under the cooperation of Danish Marine & Offshore Group China (DMOG), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Hongkong, Korea’s Gyeongnam Shipping Industry Association with the organizing committee, the above organizations are also proactively inviting international customers to participate in the exhibition.
During the exhibition, many high-level international forums will be held. The forums worth paying attention to are listed as follows: The 12th Asian Shipbuilding Experts Forum (ASEF), sponsored by Chinese Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), the 1st Maritime China 2018, sponsored by MARE FORUM and Erasmus Shipinvest Group, the 2nd Military-Civilian Integration High-Level Forum (Dalian), hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, the 4th Offshore Forum China, co-sponsored by China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI) and Innovation Norway (IN), the China-US High-Level Forum on Energy Trade and Maritime Development, co-sponsored by China Overseas Development Association (CODA) and China Shipowners' Association (CSA), and the 2018 Ocean Technology and Equipment Forum, hosted by the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (CSNAME).
As the biggest maritime event in China this year and an important part of Dalian International Marine Expo Week, the 13th SHIPTEC CHINA has attracted great attention from the domestic and international industry.
