
According to Clarksons Research, by the end of January 2020, Chinese shipyards’ order books totaled 26.7 million CGT, accounting for 35.07% of the global total (76.1 million CGT), ranking first in the world. South Korean and Japanese shipyards follow behind, with orders reaching 21.7 million CGT and 11.1 million CGT respectively, accounting for 28.53% and 14.54% of the global total.
Among the world’s top 20 shipyards, 9 Chinese shipyards are on the list, other 11 are occupied by South Korea (5), Japan (2) and Europe (4). The top 4 shipyards are all from South Korea. Calculated by CGT, Samsung Heavy Industries still tops the list. The top Chinese shipyards are Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group (6) and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (8). Thanks to cruise orders, the rankings of two European shipyards have risen rapidly. The Chantiers de l'Atlantique (formerly STX France) has surpassed all Chinese shipyards and ranks 5th.In the world’s top 20 shipowners placing orders at Chinese shipyards, COSCO Shipping Group still ranks first. CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Company is also included. In addition, the Greek shipowner Dynacom Tankers enters the list for the first time, ranking 18th.

根据克拉克森数据统计,截至2020年1月底,中国造船厂手持订单总量为2669.7万CGT,约占全球手持订单总量的35.07%(2669.7万/7611.5万),位居榜首。韩国、日本造船厂手持订单总量分别为2171.4万CGT 和1106.4万CGT,各占全球手持订单量的28.53%和14.54%,分列第二、三位。
其中全球手持订单20强船厂榜单中,中国船厂共有9家船厂上榜,另外,5家韩国船厂、2家日本船厂和4家欧洲船厂上榜,而4家韩国船厂占据前4位。按CGT统计,三星重工依然位居榜首,中国船厂排名最高的是扬子江船业集团,排名第6,其次是外高桥造船,排名第8。欧洲两大船企凭借邮轮订单排名迅速上升,其中法国大西洋造船厂(Chantiers de l'Atlantique,原STX法国)已经超过中国船厂,排名第5,仅次于4大韩国船厂。
全球手持订单20强船东榜单中,按CGT统计,嘉年华集团位居榜首,中国有5家船东入围。此外,Top 20榜单中出现1家新面孔——俄罗斯国有航运公司Sovcomflot(SCF),位列第20名。
在中国船厂下单量前20强船东榜单中,中远海运集团依然排名第一。而原中船重工旗下的中国船舶租赁有限公司(中船租赁)和中船集团旗下的中国船舶(香港)航运租赁有限公司(中船航运租赁)均进入前20,两者加在一起仅次于中远海运集团,如今两船合并已是全球最大的造船集团——中国船舶集团俨然已经是中国第二大船东。此外,希腊Dynacom Tankers首次进入前20榜单,排名位列第18名。
