Strike is Spreading!
Swedish workers are uniting against Tesla on November 3 to fight for the working conditions they deserve. Sweden's largest trade union has given its support and issued a notice that 90% of Swedish workers have stopped loading or discharging Tesla cargoes at the ports of Malmö, Sodertalje, Bothenburg and Trelleborg as of November 7 to negotiate with Tesla about workers' wages, pensions and insurance. However, no settlement agreement has been signed by Tesla and the Swedish Trade Union Confederation yet. As a result, Four Swedish ports have stopped loading and discharging all Tesla cargoes.
It is reported that the import volume of Tesla Model Y in Sweden is already three times as much as that of its competitor--- "Volkswagen ID.4". The market demand of Tesla Model Y is high. But the boycotts by Swedish ports against Tesla have greatly affected the berthing plans and interests of the relevant shipowners and cargo owners. E-PORTS recommends that the shipowners and cargo owners who will load or discharge Tesla cargoes in Sweden these days, need to contact local shipping agents in advance to get real-time port information so that the strike will not affect their shipping plans.
