[E-PORTS News] HMM Tops the World's 10 Most Punctual Liner Companies

According to SeaIntelligence, South Korea’s Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) ranked first among the world’s ten most punctual liner companies in June. 

 Data shows that HMM performed 1,700 port calls in June, with an average punctuality rate of 91.8%. Wanhai Shipping followed closely, with a rate of 90.4%. Hamburg Süd Line came in third, with a rate of 89.8%, while the fourth place went to Maersk, with a rate of 88.1%. Yangming Marine comes last among the top ten, with a rate of 77%. 

 The punctuality rate of all 15 major liner companies rose compared with the previous month. Among them, HMM rose the most, up 8.2 percentage points. Evergreen Marine followed, up 5.6 percentage points, and APL, up 5.2 percentage points. 

 By comparison, Pacific International Lines, Hamburg Süd Line and MSC are the companies with the smallest increase in punctuality rate, and none of them increased their rate by more than 1%. 

 In addition, SeaIntelligence analyzed the punctuality rate of the three liner alliances. THE Alliance, consisting of Hapag-Lloyd, Yangming Marine and ONE, comes last. From May to June, THE Alliance’s punctuality rate reached 75.4%, up 5.3 percentage points from the previous period. 

 SeaIntelligence also pointed out that the 2M alliance, comprising Maersk and MSC, is the most punctual shipping alliance. From May to June, the punctuality rate of 2M reached 91.3%, up 8.2 percentage points. The Ocean Alliance (composed of CMA CGM, APL, COSCO and Evergreen) came in second, with the punctuality rate reaching 85.5% in the same period, an increase of 6.9 percentage points.

 据SeaIntelligence近期发布的报告显示，今年6月，在全球前十大班轮公司中，韩国现代商船准班率排名第一。

 数据显示，现代商船的船舶共挂靠港口1,700次，平均准班率为91.8%。万海航运紧随其后，准班率为90.4%。汉堡南美位列第三，准班率为89.8%。排名第四的是马士基航运，准班率为88.1%。准班率最后一名的班轮公司是阳明海运，为77%。 

 与前一个月相比，十五大班轮公司的准班率都有所提升。其中，现代商船提升最大，上涨8.2个百分点。长荣海运紧随其后，上涨了5.6个百分点，APL上涨5.2百分点。 

 此外，准班率涨幅最小的公司是太平船务、汉堡南美和地中海航运，这三家班轮公司的准班率提升都未超过1%。 

 此外，SeaIntelligence还对三大班轮联盟的准班率进行了分析。数据显示，由赫伯罗特、阳明海运和ONE组成的THE Alliance联盟的准班率是三大联盟最低的。五月至六月间，THE Alliance联盟的准班率达到75.4 %，相较于此前提升了5.3个百分点。 

 SeaIntelligence还指出，由马士基和地中海航运组成的2M联盟是准班率最高的联盟。五月至六月期间，2M联盟的准班率高达91.3%，提升了8.2个百分点。海洋联盟（由达飞、APL、中远海运和长荣海运组成）位居第二。五月至六月间，该联盟准班率为85.5%，较之前提升了6.9个百分点。
