On August 7, a tanker carrying 21 crew members caught fire and exploded in the waters of Bali, killing 5 people and injuring 15. On July 19, an oil tanker flying the flag of Singapore and an oil tanker flying the flag of Sao Tome and Principe collided and caught fire near Singapore waters.
